The LAP function is a chronometer designed to measure the lap time in a running race or motor race.

For example: measuring the lap time taken for a long-distance runner.

Use

Select the LAP chrono

To be able to select the LAP function, the SPLIT chrono needs to be reset and vice versa

Start timekeeping

Each time the runner completes a lap, press to record the lap time

The recorded time flashes on the display for 3 seconds, then the current timing is displayed again

On the runner's last lap, stop timekeeping

The last lap time is recorded

Display the first recorded time

After 2 seconds, the time is displayed

Press again to display the next time

Press twice to go directly to the next time

After 20 seconds, the display returns to the total time

Resetting the chronograph to zero

Resetting the current timing to zero deletes the stored data
